How to Install Surge Suppressors in Remote Installations

IMPORTANT! IMPROPER SPECIFICATION OR INSTALLATION OF A SUPPRESSION SYSTEM MAY SEVERELY RESTRICT THE CAPABILITIES OF YOUR SYSTEM AND WILL ADVERSELY AFFECT ALL BENEFICIAL ASPECTS OF YOUR INSTALLATION.

You should contact Stedi-Power for these installations. This installation is an exception to normal requirements and special conditions apply.

You may find it is not possible to connect your suppressor to your electrical system without lengthening your lead wires. You may NOT splice your suppressor wires to reach the required length. There are NO exceptions.

There are limitations on the length of this installation and there are specific points which need to be addressed such as cable routing, ampacity of connectors, and the increased impedence of the new combination.
