How to Specify Surge Suppression Installation on Busbars.

IMPORTANT!  IMPROPER SPECIFICATION OR INSTALLATION OF A SUPPRESSION SYSTEM MAY SEVERELY RESTRICT THE CAPABILITIES OF  YOUR SYSTEM AND WILL ADVERSELY AFFECT ALL BENEFICIAL ASPECTS OF YOUR INSTALLATION.

      As a "rule of thumb" we recommend installing surge suppression at EVERY OTHER BREAKER (or fuse) on your buss bar.

          It may be possible to reduce the number of suppressors but it takes a thorough inspection to determine the minimal requirements. 

          Your Stedi-Power Representative is trained to specify these types of installation.  His "mission" is to install the fewest number of devices required to accomplish the task...not the most.  Contact your distributor for assistance.
